Videor Art Foundation
Collection concept
The Videor Art Foundation exclusively collects works that have been created on a computer or with the assistance of digital media by young, mostly unknown artists. Open as regards subject matter, the collection is constantly expanding and international in focus: in addition to exhibits by German artists such as Sandra Mann and Daniela Finke, it also features works by the Korean artist Seoungwon Won, the American Phil Stein, the Peruvian Patrick Tschudi and the Russian photo artist Andrej Barov.
The works in the collection are firmly embedded in the infrastructure and corporate culture of the Videor E. Hartig GmbH company. The most visible example of the so-called multi-artist concept is the ArtCenter, whose printed outer membrane features large-format artists’ motifs and alludes to the company’s commitment to culture.
