“analog or digital - we go forward"
from KiR
Vernissage on 11.10.2012
Rödermark, October 2012. The art- and cultural initiative of Videor E. Hartig GmbH is opening the exhibition “analog or digital – we go forward” on October 11, 2012 at 6.30 p.m. with the works of artists from KiR.
According to the slogan of one of the company guidelines of the international commercial enterprise VIDEOR „We go forward“, the artists taking part in this project immerse into a world technically dominated. Analog or digital can be regarded as possible alternative presentation of physical sizes. However they also symbolize the alteration in our society from the continuous to the discontinuous and they stand for evolution and progress. The active contention with this alteration was realized in very different interpretations in art work of various genres.
Analog means in its origin “rationality” and is always co-determine our acting. Thereby the artists do not want to let them drift in the stream but they want to enter new ways and create: go forward. Permanent in progress, they are looking for platforms of presentation and communication.
With the exhibition „analog or digital, we go forward“, a further conversion occurred to the point of a cooperation with VIDEOR, who´s “heart” – like the ones of KiR artists – is in Rödermark. The cooperation shall generate impulses for all participants.
Since the first common activity, the artists of the association KiR see themselves as a union of creatives, having their strengths in variety, dissimilarity and acceptance
of different creativeness.
With an award the best realization of the theme the imaginativeness of the artists will be awarded.
The cabaret Kabbaratz (www.kabbaratz.de) is moderating the exhibition and is emblazing the topic in an own interpretation.
